Founded in 2009, iD-Geoenvironmental Limited (ID-Geo) is an independent geoenvironmental and geotechnical consultancy specialising in the redevelopment of brownfield and greenfield land. The company is owned and managed by its three Directors, Brandon Rice-Birchall, Nick Ward and Michael Jones.
Dr Brandon Rice-Birchall

Brandon is a Chartered Geologist with a PhD in geochemistry and has seventeen year's experience in geoenvironmental consultancy specialising in the investigation, assessment and remediation of greenfield and brownfield sites in the UK.
Prior to this Brandon spent twelve years as a Senior Lecturer in Applied Geology at Staffordshire University and was the course Director for the MSc Environmental Geology and Environmental Management.
Brandon is also a registered QP under the CL:AIRE DoWCoP initiative.

Michael has over seventeen year's experience in geoenvironmental consultancy focusing on the investigation, assessment and remediation of greenfield and brownfield sites. Michael also has extensive experience of the design, supervision and validation of major earthwork projects.

Nick has nineteen year’s experience in geoenvironmental consultancy, including investigation, assessment and remediation of greenfield and brownfield sites since 2005 and prior to this, design and construction of waste management facilities. Nick specialises in shallow mining investigation and treatment. Nick has previously worked in manufacturing and Local Government Planning & Development Control.

Steve is a geoenvironmental engineer with a BSc (Hons) degree in geoenvironmental science and working towards Chartered Geologist status. Steve’s professional experience includes desk study and intrusive investigation, geotechnical and environmental assessment, and remediation of greenfield and brownfield sites in the UK. Previously, Steve spent five years in the oil and manufacturing industries carrying out geological mapping in Iraq and the UK, creating raw material laboratory tests, and developing GIS software.

Liam is a senior geoenvironmental engineer with fifteen year's consultancy experience, holding a BSc Honours degree in Geology, and currently working towards Chartered Geologist status. Liam’s professional experience includes site investigation, geotechnical and environmental assessment, remediation design, supervision and verification, carried out across a range of commercial and residential development projects on both greenfield and brownfield sites in the UK

Peter obtained an MSc in Engineering Geology from Newcastle University in 1999 and has been working in geoenvironmental consultancy in the North of England ever since. Peter is a Chartered Geologist and Chartered Scientist and serves on the Geological Society Scrutineering panel assessing candidates for these awards.
